Access Free WIFI
Visit any of one of our Virtual Library sites throughout Downey to access the internet for free. No library card is required to access free internet at any of our Virtual Library locations. Simply:
Search your network preferences and select the downey-library network
Once you’ve selected our network, you will be prompted to read and accept the terms of use. After accepting the terms, you will have free access to our WiFi network

Are you a local artist, writer, educator, maker, crafter, chef, vendor or storyteller who wants to share your talents with our community? Maybe you’re an entrepreneur or organization that wants to give back to the community. If so, we’d love to hear from you. Downey City Library hosts a number of events and programs throughout the year, from workshops to author talks to discussion panels, in addition to our yearly Beyond The Book Festival. If you want to host a panel, teach a class, set up a stall, fund one of our many literacy projects, or share your creative ideas with us, contact us:
