NLM Early Learning
The Norwalk-La Mirada USD Preschool Program offers a variety services to pregnant mothers and children aged 0-5 based on eligibility and program guidelines. Preschool classes are located at 12 sites, including a new site in Downey at Columbia Center. Early childhood education programs emphasize literacy development using the Head Start Early Learning Framework and California State Preschool Learning Foundations. Additionally, bilingual and English language development programs help prepare all language learners for college and career readiness.
