How It Works:
Participate: Sign up to Beanstack to try one of our many reading challenges!
Read: Complete a set number of books, hours, or specific tasks depending on the challenge.
Win: Earn rewards for completing challenges or enter raffles for a chance to win exciting prizes!

Current Reading Challenges
Fantasy Subgenre Reading Challenge
Embark on an odyssey through the richly diverse realm of fantasy literature with this reading challenge. To complete this challenge, achieve bingo row by row by reading one of the many fantasy subgenres we have in our collection and completing the activities. Click on the challenge to learn more. Once you complete the challenge, you'll be placed in a raffle to win one of three prizes!
For Ages: 13+
Dates: July 31st - October 11th
Travel Reading Challenge
Do you have the travel bug? Want to learn more about a different part of the world? Then this challenge is right up your alley. To complete this challenge, start by reading a travel guide in our collection (ask staff assistance for locating them) plus learn the language, read a history/culture book, and read a literature/fiction book, on the location the travel guide covers. Once you complete the challenge, you'll be placed in a raffle to win one of three prizes!
For Ages: 18+
Dates: July 31st - October 11th
Smokey Bear Reading Challenge
In celebration of Smokey's 80th Birthday, learn how to prevent wildfires and help the environment! Read 3 books on wildfire prevention or the environment and earn activity badges to complete the challenge and earn your prize (while supplies last)! Start by taking Smokey’s Pledge. Badges are earned by completing at least one activity in each section.
You can select books from Smokey's Reading List at smokeybear.com, or choose your own.
For Ages: 2-12
End Date: November 28th
How to Beanstack
To create a Beanstack account, click the sign up button below. Families may be linked together through parent/guardian information.
Challenges are targeted for specific age groups. Check the age before signing up for a specific challenge.
To earn badges, complete each challenge as described on the webpage. For example, a bingo challenge will require you to get bingo by filling out badges in arow, column or diagonal line.
Once you’ve completed a challenge, you’ll either receive a prize and/or be entered into a raffle to win a prize. Please read each challenge description to find out the type of reward system it uses. Visit the Library to retrieve your prize with verification on Beanstack.
