Beginner Sewing: Presented by the Friends of the Downey City Library

Join us in the Workshop to learn how to sew! In this hands-on class, you will learn all the basics of sewing, including the operation of a sewing machine. You’ll also get to work on a beginner level project: a reusable shopping bag! All materials will be provided.

This program will be led by the Friends of the Downey City Library!

Please note that this program is intended for beginners with little to no sewing experience. We will also be hosting an Intermediate Sewing class intended for those with more experience on Saturday, May 10th.

This program is intended for ages 18 and up.

Registration is required to attend this program. The registration form will become available on Monday, April 21st at 10:00 AM on the Workshop’s webpage.
