Visit the Friends of The Downey City Library for an opportunity to have your portrait drawn by local Downey artist Taryn Lee! This special event is open to all library patrons, making it the perfect chance to capture your unique charms and essence on paper and leave with a timeless keepsake, all for a donation of $15 to the Friends of The Library. Portrait Drawings will be held the following days:
Wednesday, July 31st, 5pm-7pm
Saturday, August 10th, 12pm-2pm
Spaces are limited, so be sure to RSVP by emailing friendsofthedowneylibrary@gmail.com or calling (562) 964-4007 to secure your spot. Ask for Ramie and leave your name and phone number along with your requested day and time. Walk-ins are welcome (time permitting). This is a wonderful opportunity to support The Downey City Library while commemorating your own image through the eyes of an artist. We can't wait to see you there!
