Made in the Workshop Art Exhibit - Opening Reception
The Workshop is excited to announce an opening reception for our upcoming exhibition: Made in the Workshop! This event will include a viewing of the newly installed artwork, a tote bag giveaway, a button making workshop; as well as food and drink!
The opening reception will take place on Saturday, November 9th, from 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM.
For the tote bag giveaway, we will have a custom design that commemorates the exhibition screen printed onto tote bags. Those who attend our reception will actually get to print the design onto the bags themselves and learn a bit about the screen printing process.
The button making workshop will coincide with the giveaway, where attendees will get to create their own buttons using our button press. Those buttons can either be made through drawing a design, or through using collage materials.
All materials will be provided, while supplies last! Registration is not required for participation in this event.
Please email any questions to workshop@downeyca.org.
